March is Reading Awareness Month! It is also Dr. Seuss' 100th Birthday Celebration. Thus, I am hosting a READING AWARENESS COMPETITION!

The award: HORTON THE ELEPHANT
(stuffed animal from Kohl's Cares For Kids)

Rules:
Share your family's:
favorite author
literary work and
how you and your family celebrate Reading Awareness Month.

You may do so by leaving a comment with a link to your site. The competition will run until March 14th, the same day Horton hits the movie theater! The winner will be randomly chosen and announced on the 15th.

Click on Horton's picture and head on over to Seussville where the activities and celebrations are in full swing! And please join our family the during the month of March as we feature four (one a week) of our family's favorite: authors, sites, and chosen works of literature.

We love Crockett Johnson, especially his original "Harold and the Purple Crayon." We plan to read a lot this month, but then again, we read a lot all the time!
