This picture is from our recent trip to the District. The sea wall protecting the Jefferson Memorial from the Tidal Basin is sinking. The 32,000-ton memorial does not appearing to be sinking -yet-so it is still open to the public. Just don't plan on taking a strolling around it; but you can swim;-)
