Phonics. While Abby is unloading the dryer we name the items and say who they belong to. Now when we say the name of an item we stress the first sound of the letter and say another word that has the same sound. For example: socks/sun, towel/toy
Abby thoroughly enjoys helping around the house and one of her favorite activities is unloading the dryer. This past week, she unloaded the dryer and then came running; "Come Mamae, come see!" She proudly told me to "Watch Mame, Abby fold clothes. Abby help." And help she did!
