Christmas tradition #three involves Christmas ornaments!

Every year each person is given a predetermined amount of money by which to choose their own ornament. In previous years we have always chosen our Christmas Ornaments from Bombay. (Needless to say we were extremely sad to see their doors close.) We are considering a few different purchasing options this year, we shall see...

Does your family have any traditions involving Christmas ornaments?

Growing up in the islands, we had ornaments made like coconuts and of course a wide variety of beautifull sea shells. It was my job to put the holes in the shell ornaments.

Now I want to know how to make holes in shells to make them ornaments- a neat idea! We always make a photo ornament of the kids to commemorate how old they were/what they looked like each Christmas. It is hard to believe that my oldest is 2 and the baby is looks just like she did her first Christmas! I love World Market and Hallmark for their ornaments.
