Aloha Friday!

Friday, 16 January 2009

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought on Fridays I would take it easy on posting too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you would like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave the link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participates! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

This weeks question:

How do you celebrate Valentines?

Nothing crazy - some candy and cards - maybe a nice dinner.

Quiet dinner with hubby at home. We just don't do the crowds anymore!

We usually don't do a lot of Valentine's Day, but we will go out for a nice dinner another night.

Usually exchange cards. Hubby will give me Reese's Peanut Butter cups - my favorite. I'm hoping to do a little more with my kids this year.

Hmmm we will celebrate at home with our kids on pink valentine's plates, pink tablecloths, mylar balloons, etc. and get take out!

We'll go out for a nice dinner without kids before Valentine's Day. That day we'll have a playgroup Valentine's Day party at my house with dinner and dessert. The kids will get to exchange valentine's and play while we socialize. We're getting the girls Valentine's Day books and tees as a early present. They still don't get the entire concept!

I have to admit that DH and I have not done too much since we had kids. Sometimes dinner out, but probably not this year. We are saving up for our upcoming family vacation.

Not much, we may get take out from our favourite spot. I do get some decorations from the dollar store just to brighten up mid-winter.

We don't really! DH gets me a teddy bear w/ the year on it's foot & that's about it. This year, I think we'll be babysitting!
