Jamestown Rediscovery

Jamestown's historical significance is being brought to life in the Jamestown Rediscovery archaeological project. The Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities invites you to tour the excavations of this Virginia city founded in 1607. In addition to the actual excavation, the visitor has access to the history of the area, including a timeline of events and references leading up to and through the establishment of Jamestown.
